The Friends are a group that helps to support and develop the success of the Norfolk & Norwich Festival. In return for this support, the Friends benefit from invitations to special events, behind-the-scenes information in the Friends Newsletter, discounts on ticket prices and the camaraderie of joining several hundred like-minded people who enjoy the arts in Norfolk.

This year, the money from Friends membership has gone towards supporting the Academy of Ancient Music and Festival Chorus performing Mozart’s Requiem in the Cathedral on Saturday 6 May. Friends have also been known to give other support, putting in many hours of volunteering work and even offering free accommodation for visiting artists. This year, there will be an event, immediately before the performance of Mozart’s Requiem, to say thank you to the Friends for their on-going support.
